Gay Marriage

Hello there. I'd like to start us out with a video today.

There are quite a few things that I'd like to say about this. And I'm pretty sure I've gone off about gay marriage before, but this is a great example of how much I hate people who hate it. And these are the reasons why (pertaining mostly to this video):

1. He's, what, 10?

At 10, you can't have been gay and then gone back to being straight because you "realized how wrong being gay is". First of all, you're waaaay too young to be making these kinds of decisions, and second, you can't just stop being gay because you think it's wrong. You're always one or the other, and you might realize that you're the other one, but you can't just stop. Also, I think his judgement is affected hugely by his parents. Peer pressure, ya know. And if you saw on the news that gay marriage is wrong, you're probably watching Fox News. And we all know how accurate Fox News is.

2. God most certainly did NOT create male and female for that reason.

So, you know how Adam and Eve were created? And then they had TWO BOYS? How do you think they got along then, hm? There are two ways this could have gone on, and both are frowned upon by the Christian religion: homosexuality and incest. Even if Adam and Eve had had a boy and a girl, they STILL would have had some form of incestual creepiness going on there, which means that everybody on Earth is related, which also means that by getting married and having kids, you're having sexy adventures with your distant relative. Think about that for a while.

3. The world is already overpopulated.

Okay, so I understand that you think that it's only right on a technical basis for a man and a woman to get married. And I can understand why in the B.C. era it would be frowned upon to not have babies. However, nowadays, it should be fine because the world doesn't need any more people. There are simply too many.

4. God doesn't like it?

How do you know that? Have you talked to him? If he hated gay people so much, then why did he make them? And what makes you think that it's wrong to love somebody?

5. Getting married to your hand isn't a good analogy at ALL.

Your hand doesn't have a gender. Your hand doesn't have a mind of its own. Your hand isn't similar to a person. There's no connection between the two. Besides, if you were a man and you dressed your hand up as a woman, it would be the same thing as being heterosexual.

And it doesn't sound THAT abnormal.

6. It is perfectly normal.

Being gay is as normal as having five fingers on each hand. Seriously. It's just love, except your little ignorant 10-year-old mind can't understand it. What's abnormal, however, is somebody who has three eyes. Or two heads. Or one foot.

Yeah, I don't know where I was going to go with that.

But whatever.

That's enough of my ranting. Goodbye!
