Ewwww.

I've been sick. I know. Fun, right?

Well, anyway, I went to the doctor today and when she looked in my ears, she couldn't see ANYTHING because there was enough wax in there to open up a candle shop. But she cleaned it out (which hurt a lot) and didn't find anything interesting.

What she did find, however, was that there was a little bit of pus on my tonsils, which every doctor says are HUGE, and that my left sinus passage was clogged. My eyes are also very obviously red and irritated, and I constantly cry out of one eye because it waters all the time. I can safely say that if my eyes weren't watering all the time, I would look high.

As for my ears, it feels like I'm going deaf and I'm not even 20 yet.

I was treated with amoxicillin, which are big pink horse-sized pills that help clear out infections.

As for the cough that I had, cough syrup and lozenges (isn't that word just the best?) should work just fine, and I've been sipping down passion iced tea from Starbucks, so I should be fine.

~*~

So what's up with this "rapture" thing? Saturday, right? 21st of May? Is that where all the Christians are let into heaven? I guess most of my street is going to be pretty much empty. That should be fun. I could technically have my choice of any house on the block and maybe move into a much bigger and nicer house. I can dream, right?

~*~
Bras, man. Being a woman is hard work. I tried on a D at Target and took it home but I wore it the next day and it didn't fit. The bra industry is taking all my money. Damn them.

~*~

Maybe this sickness is just making me insane, but I kinda miss school. Usually I come home and praise the lord that there's no school for a few more hours. But today is different. I just kinda want to see all my friends. Except Andy. Andy can go die in a big crater for all I care.

That will be all for today. This post was brought to you by the letter Q and the number 17,361.449...

Yay Me!

I just found out that I now have an average of nine people who view my blog per day. That's quite an accomplishment, I'd say. Having my blog be open to the public makes me feel a lot better about myself.

Tell your friends!

Anyway, it's been a little while since I last posted, so let's get up to speed.

A couple weeks ago, I played Portal for the first time. It's probably my favorite game ever, with Knytt coming close in second. However, I finished Portal right before Portal 2 came out, which was even better than the first one, which doesn't usually happen. So I had a whole week of a Portal-playing-palooza. I love the game even more because the music that plays over the credits are written by one of my favorite people, Jonathan Coulton, and the lyrics are beautifully written. As a disclosure, the songs don't make much sense unless you've played Portal, and the Black Mesa reference is from Half Life, which comes with The Orange Box, which Portal was originally a part of.

I also downloaded Knytt, which is a fun platformer if you want a game you can think about but not have to try too hard to play.

I'm going to go see Thor on the 6th for my dad's birthday. Looks fun.

Ah, the 70's...

Don't you just love the 70's? I know I do. Especially Elton John and the Brady Bunch Variety Hour. But what's crazy is when somebody does a GORGEOUS cover of an Elton John song and does it somewhat better than him. Now don't start commenting about how it's not true, because it's an opinion is all.

My point is two posts ago, but to save you from going all the way, ALL TEH WAY back in times, I will give you the link right here.

Well, that's about it for now. Eventually (meaning sometime in the vaguely-distant future) I will post something worth reading about.

Fun, fun, fun, fun.

Friday is tomorrow, and hopefully I'll be able to play with a baby again. Yay!

Revamped

Hello, all.

As you may or may not have noticed, I completely revamped my blog, made it less sucky, and really pretty with a new banner and everything. Blogger also had a bunch of new fonts that looked pretty awesome, so there's that.

Not a lot has happened in the last few days, except for the fact that I've taken up crocheting again and taught myself roughly how to actually make stuff instead of little ropes.

And that's about it.

See ya!

Hectic, Hexagons... Same Thing.

Well, this week has been hectic.

LOLJK not really. It's been really mundane and boring. But I'd rather it be this way, since I'm lazy like that. But I really wish I had some real friends to hang out with on the weekends. Oh well. As they say, beggars can't be choosers.

So, McKenzie is being... mean again, for lack of a better, more insulting word. She's become very vulgar in the recent years. She said, and I quote, "nah, listening to your sh*t is boring." What, since I don't cause drama every second of my life like you do, I'm suddenly boring? I always think that people who are just mean like that have problems at home, but she really has it good, so I have a hard time sympathizing with her and making myself feel better. She's just mean for no reason. I think it's for her own deserted soul's entertainment.

Well, anyway.

Today I took a road trip to Bellingham to see Omi and I was technically supposed to help garden, but I was tired and I'm not really good at that sort of thing and there were already a bunch of other people there to do the work, so I thought I would just get in the way and I stayed inside and kept to myself mostly.

I also got my registration to WSHS today, which REALLY sucks because I REALLY REALLY don't want to go there. CSHS is perpetually better. But 73h p4r3n75 are getting that taken care of ahead of time, before 8th grade is even over. Lucky for me I have such awesome parental guardians.

Also, if you haven't seen *this* abomination, you probably should, because there might possibly be references. However, *this* kind of validates it a LITTLE. Until the part where she starts talking about Bieber. That's when I had no forgiveness. But her voice is okay when she's not singing that song. Gosh.

Conversely, *here* is Ellie Goulding, who has a beautiful voice. Absolutely beautiful.

And that's it for now.

Bye!

Gay Marriage

Hello there. I'd like to start us out with a video today.

There are quite a few things that I'd like to say about this. And I'm pretty sure I've gone off about gay marriage before, but this is a great example of how much I hate people who hate it. And these are the reasons why (pertaining mostly to this video):

1. He's, what, 10?

At 10, you can't have been gay and then gone back to being straight because you "realized how wrong being gay is". First of all, you're waaaay too young to be making these kinds of decisions, and second, you can't just stop being gay because you think it's wrong. You're always one or the other, and you might realize that you're the other one, but you can't just stop. Also, I think his judgement is affected hugely by his parents. Peer pressure, ya know. And if you saw on the news that gay marriage is wrong, you're probably watching Fox News. And we all know how accurate Fox News is.

2. God most certainly did NOT create male and female for that reason.

So, you know how Adam and Eve were created? And then they had TWO BOYS? How do you think they got along then, hm? There are two ways this could have gone on, and both are frowned upon by the Christian religion: homosexuality and incest. Even if Adam and Eve had had a boy and a girl, they STILL would have had some form of incestual creepiness going on there, which means that everybody on Earth is related, which also means that by getting married and having kids, you're having sexy adventures with your distant relative. Think about that for a while.

3. The world is already overpopulated.

Okay, so I understand that you think that it's only right on a technical basis for a man and a woman to get married. And I can understand why in the B.C. era it would be frowned upon to not have babies. However, nowadays, it should be fine because the world doesn't need any more people. There are simply too many.

4. God doesn't like it?

How do you know that? Have you talked to him? If he hated gay people so much, then why did he make them? And what makes you think that it's wrong to love somebody?

5. Getting married to your hand isn't a good analogy at ALL.

Your hand doesn't have a gender. Your hand doesn't have a mind of its own. Your hand isn't similar to a person. There's no connection between the two. Besides, if you were a man and you dressed your hand up as a woman, it would be the same thing as being heterosexual.

And it doesn't sound THAT abnormal.

6. It is perfectly normal.

Being gay is as normal as having five fingers on each hand. Seriously. It's just love, except your little ignorant 10-year-old mind can't understand it. What's abnormal, however, is somebody who has three eyes. Or two heads. Or one foot.

Yeah, I don't know where I was going to go with that.

But whatever.

That's enough of my ranting. Goodbye!

My Dreams for Today

There are many things that I want in life. One of which is to completely redo my blog: Change up my sidebar, update my banner, get a better background layout... I even have a new color scheme in mind. Purple, gray, and black. Hot.

Well, anyway, while I'm dreaming about my blog, I'd like having my own domain name where you don't have to log in to see any of my posts, and where I wouldn't have any worries about certain people (ahem) getting into my account and "moderating" my posts. It would be fun.

In other news, it would be fun to have a dog named Cardinal Wolsey. I was watching Tudors a few months ago and I thought how awesome it would be to have a dog named Cardinal Wolsey. And my cat will be Chairman Meow. Pretty awesome.

Well.

That's that.

And while I'm here, I should probably talk about more happy things before I rant again. I should stop trying to be so cynical and negative.

But I'm running out of things to be happy about.

Help me.

Oh! Of course! Airship Daedalus! It was aired on Sunday. New strips every Sunday and Wednesday. Look at it. Link on the name.

Also, we have a band name. Heartsick. I saw it in a book and was like, "HEY! That's an awesome band name!" So we used it and now we have a web domain. Link in the name.

I'm also addicted to Hyperbole and a Half and The Oatmeal. They're also awesome comics. Links in their names.

I don't like Better With You. It's a horrible show. But I do like How I Met Your Mother and Two and a Half Men.

Speaking of Two and a Half Men, did you see that Charlie Sheen is in rehab? And bats--t crazy? Indeed, he says "gnarly" and "radical" and "epic" all the time. What are you, in the 70's? Seriously. Get with it, man.

Speaking of crazy people, there was a thief in Canada who left his really expensive stolen car with a stolen Ozzy Osborne CD, a stolen toque, a stolen hoodie, a stolen T-shirt, a stolen stick of Old Spice deodorant (WTF I'm sensing a little bit of a klepto goin' on here) and... wait for it... his RESUME. I'm serious.

Well, anyway, I'll wrap it up on that note. Good night.

I am my own best friend.

Why hello there.

After much figuring and deciding (and crying in front of Raechelle) I have decided that I relate better with adults. So Raechelle and Trish are my best friends and Tyler is like my guy friend who's my age. I've decided not to be so lonely and to be more happy with myself, and accept who I am as my own best friend.

Before
After

Forgive the crappy alignment. Friggin' Blogger wouldn't let me put them on the same line.

But anyway.

Speaking of crappy, I really would like a new layout, not to mention a new banner. That picture is pretty outdated. Also the layout that I have sucks, and Pyzam has been failing me recently, so I think I'll just use a default one and be happy.

This has been a rather short post, brought to you by you're friends at... well, me.

This reeeeeeally sucks.

So guess what?

Stephanie doesn't want to be friends with me anymore either. And nobody else likes me, but I can't go anywhere else because no one will accept me, and in a lot of places, I don't necessarily want to be accepted. It's a fine line.

Oh yeah, and Kathy is being extremely obvious in ignoring me, and no matter how many times I try to get the point across that she's being a huge bitch, she goes right back to it. I think she's trying to pretend like she's being my friend, but she's really failing horribly.

In other news, today was the "Mid-Winter" dance at my school. I didn't go, of course, because all the guys, Kathy, and Stephanie were in Johnson's, and I didn't really want to go anyway. It's loud, hot, crowded, and they play crappy music.

But I had a much better time hanging out with everybody in Johnson's (even though Ms Horrible (shudder) was "monitoring") than I would have had actually being at the dance. We played Musical Chairs to speed metal from Kevin's Zune and Zack built a 6-foot tall tower of Lit. books that later fell down and made a really loud noise. Then Toby lay down on the table and we covered him with books. I'd upload the pictures, but they're on my phone and I don't have a cable.

But anyway.

Today, Mom would have turned 44.

Enough said.

Fun, fun, fun.

I guess Max doesn't not like me anymore, but all the other guys are pretty damn accepting of me now.

After Kathy started spiting me and doing hurtful things to me such as looking at me with supercilious (Thank you Ms Johnson. I LOVE that word now) glances and telling  that I said that he should get a 2 on his outline paper in Vo's class, I approached her and said, "Hey. WTF." And she apologized. We agreed to be friends again because apparently there's no median in between being mean and being nice for her. I just kind-of didn't do anything, but she had to take it to the extreme for some crazy reason.

In other news, Mr. Oliver gave us a project about life in the real world and how much money we would earn if we went to college versus if we didn't go to college and went to work right out of high school. And the whole point is to earn more money after college than high school, but I am totally going to prove him wrong. For option A, which is the college option, I said that I wanted to be an elementary school teacher and go to grad school to get my masters in education. I would make about $47K a year as a teacher. HOWEVER, if I don't go to college and I got the required ten hours of CE and my license to be a funeral director, I would earn about $80K a YEAR. Plus the fact that "year 0" on my graph is supposed to be when I would have graduated from college if I had gone, which means that I would have $640K by that time, as opposed to the -$208256 I would have graduating from grad school which would be paying for tuition and fees for going to UW. Now just think if I had gone to, say, Harvard. That would be WAY more expensive, counting for the fact that it's a friggin' ivy league school AND it's not in Washington, so I would have to pay non-resident tuition. THAT is expensive.

But yeah. Life is weird.
